Regenerative aesthetics uses preparations created from your own blood to support tissue regeneration and improve skin quality. At Heightened Aesthetics, PRF, PRP and EZ Gel PRF may be used to address concerns such as fine lines, crepey skin, uneven texture, under-eye skin quality and subtle volume loss.
Each treatment plan is based on your anatomy, skin quality and goals. Depending on your needs, regenerative treatments may be used alone or alongside microneedling, dermal fillers, biostimulatory treatments or other skin therapies.
UNDERSTANDING PRF, PRP, AND EZ GEL PRF
PRF, PRP and EZ Gel PRF are autologous treatments, meaning they are prepared from components of your own blood.
Treatment begins with a small blood draw. The blood is then processed in the office to separate and concentrate selected components, including platelets and plasma. The resulting preparation may be injected, applied during microneedling or processed further to create a gel-like consistency.
PRF
Platelet-rich fibrin is a fibrin-rich preparation that may be injected into selected areas of the face. PRF is often considered when the goal is to support skin quality and gradually improve the appearance of fine lines or delicate areas such as the under-eyes.
PRP
Platelet-rich plasma is a liquid preparation that may be injected or used alongside treatments such as microneedling. PRP may be considered for facial skin rejuvenation and certain types of hair thinning.
EZ Gel PRF
EZ Gel PRF is created by carefully heating and cooling a PRF-based preparation to produce a smooth, gel-like consistency. It may provide subtle support in selected facial areas while complementing the surrounding skin. EZ Gel PRF is sometimes called an autologous biofiller, but it is not the same as hyaluronic acid dermal filler. The two treatments have different physical properties, uses and expected outcomes.

PRF, PRP and EZ Gel PRF cannot correct every cause of under-eye darkness, skin laxity, facial volume loss or hair loss. A consultation allows us to determine whether regenerative treatment is appropriate or whether another option may provide a more predictable result.
OUR APPROACH TO REGENERATIVE AESTHETIC TREATMENTS
At Heightened Aesthetics, regenerative treatment begins with a comprehensive assessment of your anatomy, skin quality, facial structure, volume and treatment goals.
We do not recommend PRF, PRP or EZ Gel simply because a patient prefers an autologous treatment. We first determine what is contributing to the concern and whether a regenerative treatment is likely to address it.
For example, under-eye darkness may be related to thin skin, visible blood vessels, pigmentation, hollowing, fluid retention or structural shadowing. PRF or EZ Gel may be appropriate for certain concerns, while dermal filler, skin treatment or no injectable treatment may be more appropriate for others.
Regenerative aesthetic treatments may be used alone or incorporated into a broader treatment plan involving microneedling, dermal fillers, biostimulatory treatments or other skin therapies.
The goal is not dramatic or immediate transformation. It is thoughtful treatment that supports skin quality and produces a balanced, natural-looking result.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the difference between PRP and PRF?
Both are platelet-rich preparations made from your own blood, but they are processed differently. PRP is a liquid plasma preparation, while PRF contains a fibrin matrix that gives it different characteristics. Your provider will recommend an option based on the treatment area and goal.
Is EZ Gel PRF the same as dermal filler?
No. EZ Gel is made from components of your own blood and provides subtle support in selected areas. Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are manufactured gels designed to provide more predictable structure, contour and volume.
Do you offer regenerative aesthetic treatments at both locations?
